What does the designation CITP mean?

CITP is the acronym for Certified International Trade Professional.

If I enroll only in one or two courses, will I still be able to get a Certification?

A Certificate of Attendance specific to the course/s attended will be released only upon request.

a. Business owners and professionals working in the field of exports, imports, customs brokerage, warehousing, management, marketing, sales, and related fields wanting to professionalize their education on international trade

b. Students and newbies entering the workforce who are looking for graduate-level education and training that will prepare them for supervisory work in private businesses engaged in international trade, government trade departments, as well as local and international non-government organizations

c. Anyone who wishes to pursue an academic career in international trade

The CIT Program is offered by WTCMM and it is modeled after WTC Denver, Mumbai, and Winnipeg.



Question:

Does the CITP designation have any validity?

Answer:

Yes. The CITP is valid for 3 years and may be renewed or maintained by taking the required continuing professional development courses offered by WTCMM of at least 8 credit units on the year of the expiry of the Certification.

How does one earn the professional trade designation?

One earns the professional trade designation by completing the required 80 credit hours of courses offered by WTCMM.
