What is Certificate in International Trade (CIT) Program?

CIT is an educational program that offers a pragmatic approach to professionalize one’s business skills and knowledge and allows one to manage and do business on a global perspective. It is cost-efficient, quick, yet effective.

Professional certification, trade certification, or a professional designation, often called simply certification or qualification, is a designation earned by a person to assure qualification to perform a job or task. It more often uses post-nominal letters that is an acknowledgment of one’s educational achievement.

CITP is the acronym for Certified International Trade Professional.

How does one earn the professional trade designation?

One earns the professional trade designation by completing the required 80 credit hours of courses offered by WTCMM.

Does the CITP designation have any validity?

Answer:

Yes. The CITP is valid for 3 years and may be renewed or maintained by taking the required continuing professional development courses offered by WTCMM of at least 8 credit units on the year of the expiry of the Certification.

Is CIT only offered by World Trade Center Metro Manila?

The CIT Program is offered by WTCMM and it is modeled after WTC Denver, Mumbai, and Winnipeg.

c. Anyone who wishes to pursue an academic career in international trade
